Obtaining adequate quantities of energy and all other essential nutrients, including protein, based on the recommendations of the Institute of Medicine (used by many nations, including the USA and Canada), is easy to achieve with this eating pattern. We help you to understand how.

The food you eat should be tasty and pleasurable. If you are truly eating in a healthful way, you may satisfy your hunger without worrying about weight excesses or negative health effects. Meals and snacks should be easy to prepare, leaving you feeling good and more energetic afterward.  

Our eating pattern is rewarding and easy to follow in the long-term. It soon becomes a way of life that allows you to feel great. The eating pattern promotes environmental sustainability too, through a focus on foods that are much less resource intensive and that are climate-friendly.
